The Old Snow Farm, built in 1868, has rich, historical features of the architecture of the time period, while still offering modern amenities. The beautifully stained wooden furnishings and floor complement the neatly trimmed high ceilings in every room. The paneling on the walls spreads an air of elegance through the living and dining rooms. The country-style kitchen begs of you to enjoy baking delicious pies, after handpicking bushels of Michigan apples with your family, over its classic checkered floors.

This huge, 3,100-square-foot home exudes grandeur in its four-poster beds as well as other glamorous touches.
Your vacation here will truly have you feeling special.

At the end of the extensive yard is Lake Allegan; a private boat dock fitted with two canoes awaits you and your free time for boating, fishing, or swimming out in the lake. When you’re not in the mood for outdoor activity, enjoy gorgeous views from the three-season room and relax with your favorite book in your lap.

In September, a few minutes' drive away is the annual Allegan County Fair with rides, games, and mouthwatering treats. The end of July hosts a Venetian Festival down the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck, where you can find many more shops, bars, restaurants, and the floating light parade. This house is one of a kind in our program and we’d love for you to enjoy it.

Please Note:

• This is a very special home filled with very special things; please take extra care while staying here.
• Lake Allegan is great for fishing, but the DNR does not recommend eating the fish. 
• Lake Allegan turns into the Kalamazoo River at each end. The current can sometimes be strong. Please be careful if you choose to swim.
• This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If you flush other items, such as feminine products, it will cause a sewage backup into the showers. Please only flush toilet paper.
• This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.
• The road this home is on is a very busy road.
