We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful property and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by charm and warmth that instantly made us feel at home. The interior is beautifully decorated, with lovely color palettes. Natural light floods the space, there are even skylights in the bedrooms where you can see the stars. The fireplace truly adds a cozy touch, perfect for sitting near together at night. The bedrooms have wonderful mattresses and bedding. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the cupboard of games. Every time we glanced out the window, we were greeted by the sight of deer roaming nearby, This only added to the charm of this rental. Location-wise, this property couldnt be better situated. Close to the water and the cities of Douglas, Saugatuck, and Holland. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The house is amazing. It still has a new smell and everything was spotless. The screened in front porch has wicker furniture, which I thought was very comfortable and I loved sitting on it, especially in the morning when the sun was shining on me. I took a photograph of the northern lights through the skylight from the very comfortable king bed. I didnt cook while I was there, but the kitchen was very stocked. I just cant say enough good things about this house. I hope I can go back one day and stay longer.

The house was exactly what wee were looking for. It was a perfect blend of vacation cottage but updated with all the modern top line amenities of a home. The location was awesome, on a quiet dead end street, walking distance to a great little neighborhood beach and only a short drive to all the restaurants in Saugatuck, Oval Beach, Downtown Douglas, Etc. There was only three of us, but the house is nicely set up for more. The Mill Pond reached out prior to our visit to ask if we needed anything else before our stay, which was a super nice touch. We will definitely be back next time were looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

Had a lovely time at the home. Host is responsive and took care of us very well during our stay. The house was immaculate and right near the beaches and downtown. The coffee shop down the road had the best coffee. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Communication were abundant, clear, and transparent. Second, the house is beyond darling. The layout, the furnishings, the decor - All 10 out of 10. Everything is so well thought out with every need considered and accommodated. Third, the beach location is ideal. The house is on a very quiet street and is an easy walk to Douglas Beach. Its a very short drive (or longer walk) to Downtown Douglas or even over to Saugatuck. We absolutely didnt ant to leave and we cannot wait to return. We will definitely stay in this home again when we visit the area. Do yourself a favor and book this rental for your trip!

Enjoyed the perfect week of Summer Vacation at this adorable Douglas/Saugatuck cottage! located a couple blocks away from beautiful Lake Michigan Beach. Clean, update, beach decor. Every detail considered from a fully equipped kitchen to beach gear, firepit, and best of all, large screened in front porch. Enjoyed the great restaurants, bike rides, walks, dune rides, shopping, art galleries, and best of all, relaxing on the beach. Will definutely be back for a super relaxing family time.

We love the cottage, everything was just as it was pictured online. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked. We appreciated the beach supplies and games. The neighborhood was quiet and so very quaint, with deer roaming around. The location was perfect, close to Downtown Douglas and a few minutes walk to the beach. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for a comfortable and clean home to rent, thats very close to Lake Michigan, this is the one! We loved the front porch, comfortable beds, and private back yard. Mill Pond was very communicative and nice to work with. Our family of 4 will definitely be back!

Our week at the Douglas home was great. The location a few blocks from Lake Michigan makes it easy to access the beach and Lakeshore Drive for sunset walks. The home is very comfortable and amenities are well stocked. Communication was excellent. Thank you!

Terrific host, very communicative right from booking, providing every detail we needed! We were very impressed with their thoughtfulness with little touches throughout the house. The house itself was very clean and inviting. Our favorite highlights were trying many of the games provided, watching deer form the screened-in porch, and walking to the beach. Absolutely would recommend this rental.

The neighborhood is quiet and yet the location is close to many fun places. My husband and I stayed here with you 20 year old daughter who we were moving to college in Grand Rapids (Just 40 minutes away). Our 16 year old son and our 2 year old daughter. The house was the perfect space for all of us, and had everything we could possibly need. During our 9 day stay, we easily drove to Grand Rapids, Grandville, Fennville, South Haven, Holland, Saugatuck, and more. WE cooked several family meals and were able to do laundry on site. We instantly felt at home. The Screened-in proch is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. Watching families of deer all over the neighborhood was a highlight too!

This beautiful home is spacious and well equipped, including luxurious linens and personal care products. The host was responsive and equipped provided us with all details we needed to know about bother before and during our stay. The house is conveniently located with access to the lake a short walk away and in a quiet neighborhood. The Douglas location made out day trips to Holland, Saugatuck, and South Haven an easy commute. I would highly recommend this location for your next Michigan getaway.
