The Old Snow Farm
Welcome to The Old Snow Farm, a beautifully restored piece of 1868 heritage where historic elegance meets modern comfort for an unforgettable getaway. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by rich wood furnishings, high ceilings, and a sense of timeless charm. Imagine gathering in the warm, country-style kitchen, surrounded by classic checkered floors that invite you to bake a fresh pie together—perhaps after a day spent handpicking Michigan apples.
This home feels like stepping back in time, yet with every modern convenience to make you feel completely at ease. Four-poster beds add a touch of luxury, and spacious rooms create an ambiance of peaceful grandeur. Every window frames views of the lush landscape, while the three-season room beckons you to relax with a good book, immersed in nature’s beauty.
Outdoors, The Old Snow Farm truly shines. With expansive views overlooking Lake Allegan, your days here can be as active or relaxed as you desire. The private boat dock, equipped with canoes, opens up possibilities for tranquil paddles, leisurely fishing, and moments of reflection on the lake’s edge. A stamped concrete patio invites outdoor dining with family and friends, while the nearby fire pit offers an ideal setting for stargazing and storytelling under the open sky.
Beyond the property, discover the vibrant local culture. A short drive takes you to Allegan’s historic downtown, where you’ll find boutique shops, cozy coffee houses, and delicious dining options. Venture a bit further to experience Saugatuck’s summer festivals, Fennville’s orchards and creameries, or Michigan’s renowned blueberry fields. If winter calls, nearby slopes await for skiing and snowboarding adventures.
Whether you’re here for lake adventures, a taste of Michigan’s fresh produce, or simply to enjoy the quiet elegance of The Old Snow Farm, you’ll find every detail crafted to make your stay special and memorable. This is more than a getaway—it’s a chance to slow down, connect, and savor life’s simple, meaningful pleasures.

Please Note:
- This is a very special home filled with very special things; please take extra care while staying here.

- Lake Allegan turns into the Kalamazoo River at each end. The current can sometimes be strong. Please be careful if you choose to swim.

Lovely historic house, perfectly maintained and well stocked. Quick drive to downtown Allegan for thifting, dinner, river walk. Drive to Oval beach for a day jumping Lake Michigan waves. Fishing off the dock was so great we didnt even use the canoes. Several tables for outdoor grilling dinner and games. Nice fire pit for evening smores.

What a beautiful and relaxing space. It was very clean and we felt like we were stepping back in time! We came for a girls weekend and we cant wait to come back! We are going to stay longer this time. The furniture is strait out of a museum 💖

We really enjoyed our stay at PleasanTrees. The house was very clean and spacious and we loved how close it was to the town. Everything looked exactly like the pictures and the description and it was even more spacious than we anticipated. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway to Saugatuck!

Huge home, lots of amenities, fishing was so fun & loved using the canoes and gear! Can tell that property is cared for. Close drive to Saugatuck/South Haven. My son caught his first fish here. This pace will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for having frisbees and gear for my kids, they loved it here too!

My family rented Snow Farm from Mill Pond Realty for our dads 90th birthday celebration. Mill Pond was so welcoming. They left a birthday card signed by their staff and a bunch of chocolate for him. Our family had plenty of space and the house is beautiful. Thank you for making our experience extra special.

We had a great time at the property. It suited our family get-together really well. We had a full house with local Michiganders and a few of us from further away. The grill was rusted, though, and a few of the appliances are a little confusing to work. Otherwise, this was a great place!

Cant say enough good things about the ladies who work for Mill Pond all were very helpful and appreciated our input on the place we stayed at. The place was fantastic and spacious both inside and out. Historical, plenty of room for our guests, relaxing, close by a village market (open 24 hours) and across the street (walking distance) from a flea market. They had the house stocked with everything we needed.
